The day wears on, as the sun moves across the sky Oddly, it is the usually quiet shadows of my mind that speak And it's only now that I can fully appreciate The many wonders of the tyrantical storm I can see the lightening for it's beauty And I now can admire the thunder, for it's mighty call I am calm and pleased, wrapped up in warm contentment For I have found the way that matches my will And I will not apologize for this new dream, or any other I won't be haunted by a suddenly closed door For as the days go by,I find that there is much to discover Behind each truth lies another, and another yet behind that I may not be able to see the moon and the stars Blazing and glowing in their magnificent splender But, I still believe in their serene light... The first cool, crisp moments of the morning soothe me,still I find peace within the dawning of each new day And I have learned to carry it with me, for comfort I realize that I know things now, that I didn't know before And, as the sun moves with precision along it's solar path As the unseen moon floats majestically on high I sing with abandon, and match the voices of the stars For I believe in the impossible, and always will And you should take heed, and know this one thing: Just because we cannot see something with our eyes Doesn't mean it isn't there... |
