Makes me wonder why I keep trying to be better, when there is so much talent to be better than...
However...no one, except my dear, dear cousin Megs has written ANY comments whatsoever to me and none to speak of about my poetry...everyone just emails me....i feel left out of your "blender world" ;-) but...i digress

Okay, instead of an e-mail...here's this. Welcome to the Board! I just read your newest submissions and was especially wOwed by *Each Packaged Separately*! I've never been good at dissecting poems and explaining in scholarly terms why I like them...the poem just WORKS, which means it ROCKS. You have a unique voice. I like the way you word things. I just sent Megs an e-mail tellin' her I think ya'll must have the "poetry" gene. Oh, damn! The cookies are burning!!!!!

People interested in doing a guest ramble or review should e-mail me at loveblender_kisrael@alienbill.com . I'm happy to hear we have three volunteers already! I can't make any promises in terms of guarantees I'll use any particular thing I'm sent of course, but given my lazy nature and the writing abilities of people here, I think people's chances are pretty good.
I try really hard to be a some one for my lady give her the world.But it seems like I am in this world of my own trying to pull my girlfriend with me she doesnt understand me alot like the people in this world poems come to me like dreams to people I cant stop. I feel things that make me write potery. I dont know who to express my self I dont know how to pull Vicktoria into my world......
I think I was just massively complimented---by the Blender Keeper himself! Thanks Kirk---do you want to send us a topic, or just free-form-as- it- takes- us-through -the- tulips- meandering?

Just received the box of goodies! Ramen noodles! Yay! Makes me all nostalgic for my college days! The candy bars are all melted (damn Texas springs...it's already in the mofo 90s!!!!)but that's okay! Stuck em in the freezer. I'm not gonna read the scenes til I write five new ones. Thanks for lightin' a fire under my ass! You're the best.

Thank you soo much!! I know, and sometimes it is hard keeping the secret myself, but it's better doing that, you don't need to deal with any problems, and we are best friends, so it works out good. I loved "Blindly Breathing" so much!!! You are just awesome!!! I did not expect that ending at all, I didn't even know it was love you were talking about!! It was great!! By the way, I just saw your mom and Justin, I was all excited, I haven't seen your mom in a few weeks!! Miss her and I AM going to miss working together all of us this summer. It is not going to be the same!! Also, Justin forgot for a second that he was going on the cruise with me, when describing my dress to your mom, he asked me what it was for!!! That's Justin for you!!

Toklas- You compliments mean lots because I know they are not sprinkled around carelessly. I tried my hand at a lil third person...tell me what you think but if you are going to be critical do it in an email (I am a fan of the Kinder Gentler Blender Board)
Misti- Poetic Gene and neither of us can do a somersault. Eric is also the man I can thank for introducing me to Calvin so he must be a good guy. I live on Ramens...Picante Chicken is the best. OH and how psyched was I at the new scenes in your play? AND the Erica Jong poem said EXACTLY what I was feeling last night and it absolutely gave me chills at the uncanniness (Megs word) I LOVE Erica Jong and one of my favorite quotes is hers: About love being the only thing that is worth the risk...but I can't quote it at the moment.
Ashley- I really liked Untitled. The lil change in style fit you well.
Eric- Also yours with the "Packaged Separately" title. I very much liked that. Woohoo go poetic gene!!!

I cannot tell you how happy I was to hear you say you liked Untitled. I was so completely unsure about it, I regretted submitting it at first. It was 1 o'clock in the morning and the words just came out with really no thought. I do like the weird styles, but I wasn't sure it fit me. Thanks for reassuring me!! it's great when people you look up to give compliments, and that's how I feel about everyone here. Thanks!! Also, I am loving ALL of the new submissions, so many and only the 6th day of the month!!
