I just thought I'd let you all know that I'm in love with the guppy -- one day we are going to run away together.... just he doesn't know that yet.

guppy 'howl' and the rain one (ummm... forgot its name when I was giggling at howl) are two of the very reasons why I LOVE YOU, sexy yet funny -- how do you do it???

ohhh and hehehe -- I'm gonna run away with Hank too..... hmmm... and Chris W.... ohhh and Terry ......I talked to Terry on the telephone for HOURS a few nights ago...... TOO much fun... (grin) even if he was fiddling with his gripper.
OH!

Hi all, sucking down more coffee, getting the kid ready for school, and I am DANCING because the head hobbit called in the numbers for the garden.....we had 190 hits since Sunday!
Now I realise this isn't a commercial venture, or any such--
but I am very excited about this!

So shamelessly, I will again supply the addy---and thank everyone who has visited. The said hobbits have indicated that while they are happy that I like what they've done, they have some new ideas...yikes!

We're even on some search engines---good grief! I've come a long way from a techno-resistent luddite neo-phyte elven queen for certain!

Gup-------Woof-------oh delightful, delicious, de-Guppy!

And the gargoyle piece------Sweets, you are amazing.....

And while I know I already mentioned Madison, Madi girl, can I please be you when I grow up?

Doesn't Matter...you are a comer, dear....hail.....and welcome!

And BK----oh my goodness.....I haven't seen such promise since Chris W and Terry stepped on board! Keep it up, please?
guppy - another wonderful series of poems. i'd pick a favorite, but they each stand so well on their own.

on another note: i picked up the most recent Barenaked Ladies cd yesterday (titled: "maroon") and just to share - it's much better than "stunt", but not quite the song-for-song quality of "maybe you should drive". worth a listen if you're into the fun quintessential barenaked sound :-)

have posted two mediocre posts. started school and it's not the liberal arts/literature i was doing before. must pick up some decent poetry on my shopping excursion this weekend. (decent poetry in book form to carry around. i visit this site compulsively now and while it is fabulous and addicting and all that other sutff - i'm a book nerd.)
perhaps good work will come soon. also have been pulling out work for my yaddo application (major stress there) and so perhaps some vintage slug will appear on a whim :-)
thank you Terry and BK (whose name i always read at first as bb king...) for missing me. perhaps that is most flattering of all :-)

I too, am a 'book nerd,' a.k.a. bibliophile.
Bibliophilia is an ancient and noble endeavor. Many of my favorite places are or are within libraries.
And rest assured others miss you too, though they mention it not (whoops, just did, so that group can't include me!)

And Kirk?

Leave Mo home! Williams melts women like butter........

Also have discovered an amazing musician from Canada named James Keelaghan...He's known all over the world-----and he is stunningly talented......he's also a teddy bear, and I adore him.

And how the heck does Gala meet all these famous,
yet obscure types? I volunteer for a group that holds coffee houses. We hosted Sara Lee Guthrie---yup......Arlo's daughter.....in the spring....The set up folks have a potluck with the talent.....Chris liked my jambalaya.....James said he was fussy about gumbo, ate mine......but i think he was being sweet........have links to both of these guys----including music cuts-----authorized music cuts.....mail me for links!
Gala - I live in NVA - so NJ is not a problem - I would jump at the chance to meet you in person - and to learn from you - wow what an honor that would be --- Oh and Gala for some reason I can not enter the Gardens from my computer at work - something about Active X control - I am going to try it from home tonight, I am dying to see it.

And my dear friend Terry, I think I should leave todd and come to AZ ;-) .... that is if Dee would let me ;-)..... "Promise Me?" your work always moves me and brings tears to my eyes. my oh my...

BK - your contributions are incredible

take care everyone - I guess I can only make contributions when I am hurting and not in love.... oh well
Hey everyone!

I've been gone for awhile but I'm trying to
catch up on everyone's new subs. Which
by the way they all look great! I haven't
been writing that much anymore it
just seems like there is not enough
time in the day. I hope to get over my dry
spell and write some good ones. I was
going through the new subs and here
are some that caught my eye.

**slug** "just so you know" was wonderful!
"my day in court" is wonderful , it
reminds me of '''my day in court'''.

**terry** "weed among the flowers" was
beautifully written, keep them
coming.

**BK Beene** "Moon Dancers" was awesome!

**Zero #1** Always a pleasure, "Just to Get
to You" astonishes me, like always!
Keep them coming, I miss seeing
your writings. :)
2 a certain someone..copied lyrics 4 u

Here is a song from the wrong side of town
Where I'm bound to the ground by the loneliest sound
That pounds from within and is pinning me down

Here is a page from the emptiest stage
A cage or the heaviest cross ever made
A guage of the deadliest trap ever laid

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home, for singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong here

The heat and the sickliest sweet smelling sheets
That cling to the backs of my knees and my feet
I'm drowning in time to a desperate beat

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home, for singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong...

Feels like home
I should have known
From my first breath

God sent the only true friend I call mine
Pretend that I'll make amends the next time
Befriend the glorious end of the line

And I thank you for bringing me here
For showing me home, for singing these tears
Finally I've found that I belong here.
