dee, gala, slug, it dosent matter(me=not going to argue about whether it matters or not, or the spelling((although the possible misspelling of doesn't could be a stroke of genius in the fact that it leads people to assume one thing, but could be done on purpose for reasons in the opposite direction))), bk(which i at first glance thought was burger king), and jenna---whew...now that i got past all the name naming i forgot what i was going to say...no, not really...thank you all...i mean...THANK YOU...(i'll probably be howling that to you all tonight seeing as it's a full moon...i'm guessing you won't hear it, so caps will have to do)

scqueen---i'll be howling a thanks to you too...i'm not honestly sure if i ever did write a part 2 to that one...yet...things cycle with me...i'm sure i'll get on the same vibe as part 1 eventually

thank you all for the kindness
Heya Riggs...

Yes dear, women can be silly twits. Men too. We compliment each other nicely like that. I think I was 35 when all the stuff that hadn't counted for a thing in high school, had in fact gotten me ignored---suddenly was important. The first time a man told me I was fascinating I just about fell over. I looked around---maybe there was blonde behind me?

What changed was me...I stopped thinking in terms of my looks around 30---the young stuff was so carelessly lovely---why the heck sweat it? I still took pains to look nice-----but if I forgot the war paint on occasion---well, I had a life. And I lived one. And the weird part, is all the stuff I did because I wanted to---read because I wished, watched because it interested me---
that all came together.

Now when I talk to men, they listen. Twenty years ago, they wouldn't even look me in the eye. See, some of them actually caught that dream girl....and after fifteen years of no stimulation above the waist...payback can be a bitch.

Hang in there Riggs.....Gup........Dev...I know that heartbreak is part of the whole blender gig---but you gentlemen need to know that there are great women out there...and they're not hiding....they just stopped thinking that anyone wanted them years ago...and old habits are the hardest to break...

Love you guys..........
Tara~ You certainly know how to warm a guy's heart. Or at least this guy's....lol. And tell Todd for me he better appreciate what a lucky guy he really is! While I miss your posts, I'd much rather see you deliriously happy and no muse than the other way around...
Best wishes my friend,
And the stone was made to blossom
Birds sang melodious tunes;
The sun lit each day and the
Moon each night.
Clear were the skies and any
Clouds were caricatures of
Clowns and puppy dogs.
There always were trees, now
There were leaves and each one
Gave back the suns glow.
A shuffle became a strong gait,
A purpose in each.
Destinations filled with anticipation
Because the source was there to share.
In short, a Ponce deLeons quest complete.

Hidden from view, by the horizon
Or the gleam of a bright smile,
Storm clouds brewed.
If only one could have seen what hid in those orbs;
What venom was in that snake
Hidden behind the gash which
Once was ruby sweet.
Pebbles became mountains and the
Blue sky was hidden between their peaks;
Trees became naked, devoid of life,
Till finally the tempest was unleashed
And the thunder rolled and the
Sky was black.
And it's fury left no doubt.
The chameleon scampered from
The blossom and left a
Stone.
