it doesnt matter~ [comfort...] was a very interesting read. I found it very effective in the way you communicated a bilateral exchange of emotion without the characters ever speaking. You have a way of revealing the internal struggle of emotion within the narrator's point of view, giving the piece real depth.
Madame, je suis honoré que quelques mes lèvres de mots soulageraient vos cœur. Mon âme pense-vous blessant quelque raison ça afflige. I hope you have a wonderful day.
BK~ Thank you very much. Such praise certainly makes posting to the Blender a gratifying endeavor. And by the way, I loved the metaphor of words pulling you in like quicksand, in your post '~Quicksand~'. It has a ring of truth for a lot of what I read here. Especially your own words...
It dosent matter: WOW! Was that dream in color or black and white? What amazing imagery!

it doesnt matter~ excellent job of putting dream imagery to paper (or computer in this case). You never said if this was an actual dream, but there are a couple powerful archetypical themes underlying your images. Thanks for sharing.
Megs: Thanks, I forgot the strawberries and whipped cream...LOL. Sometimes if feels like you dress your poems up and send them out only wanting to bring them back and redress them again after leaving something out or maybe overdressing them...LOL Editing..ugh! Do you ever do that?

heya heya (grumble) there is so much talent here and I can't even write my name now-a-days.

I've done a big huge read.... lots stood out...
Riggs 'Memoirs of a High School' -- I agree with gup about the bite.... very well written.

Devin, 'Finding me' was wonderful.

Megs -- you 'bumped' into Riggs and some of his bite musta rubbed off.... way to go.

Chris Lake 'Thinking of you' was very tender.

BK -- 'Feasting on you' -- I liked very much.

and Hank 'Beauty shines' ..... (sigh) I loved it..... and you and Gala work so well off each other... although Gala, my French isn't good enough to translate your piece... you gonna share or do I have to suffer in French failure hell?

I had an interesting chat with Hank about if, because its in French it is automatically more romantic.... I am undecided on that topic, New Zealanders will never forgive the French for a sneaky bombing of a GreenPeace ship, and for nuclear testing in the pacific.... I do try and judge the words on their own merit.... (smiles)
Dee- Silly semi-drunk piece. How sad is your life when you are drunk at 2 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon writing on the Internet? Hehe...us crazy college kids :) And thanks to Riggs for the "bump."

B.K.- Hmmmmmmmmmmm...strawberries and whipped cream...you have to stop :) I just ate like an entire BUNCH of Ben and Jerry's super-fattening ice cream. How unromantic is THAT!!! Hehe...

As for French being "more romantic" well...how romantic can it be if you don't understand it. I am in French 2 so I only have bad connections with the language...tests and such...maybe if someone wrote me nice things in French it would be a little better than vocab tests and conjugations *grin*
