Gotta just love sitting in one of the most romantic cities in Germany, eating Italian and drinking Chianti with Kirk and Mo. They breezed through here (heidelberg)yesterday and we had dinner, wine and a stroll down main street. Very cool people.
Sarah~ 'wishing' touched me deeply. You could have taken the fear right from my heart, if not your beautiful words.
I could really use someone's help. Quite some time ago, I found a site called life and love-a collection of poetry by Cody J. Dickinson. I remember that they were some of the most beautiful poems I had ever read. One in particular, was titled 'Where You Are'. At that time, I didn't have anyone special to give it to, and now that I do, I would just love to find it again. Unfortunately, the site where I found them originally is gone. If anyone has a copy of this poem, or knows any way I could find it again, or perhaps knows Cody personally, I would be extremely grateful if you could point me in the right direction.
Michael~ You took Sarah's 'wishing', and though you call it the disney treatment, I find to to be a wonderful answer full of hope and love and warm feelings. It made me feel better after reading it as I hope it did Sarah. Thanks!

Gala~ 'Flannel Shirt' was warm and sensual and loving, while 'Hot House Blossoming' was pure heat...it far outshines my poor attempts over the weekend....lol
Terry: First I re-read 'Guts and Glory'. So Cool, that made me laugh so hard. Then 'Practicing Origami' was just what I needed to lift the blues. Thank You, for being there.
Megs: I once saw Billy Joel as an opening act, for 'The Beach Boys'. It was a drunk college audience, him, and a baby grand piano. Like casting pearls before swine, they never caught on that night.

BK~ Thanks, and your posts have lifted my bootstraps more than once. It is perhaps one of the neatest things about this community. It has the power to lift you up and wipe away the tears at times and make your spirits soar at others...either way the Blender lets you know you are not alone in either feeling.
Terry ~ <humble bow> "Your wushu is better than mine.." </humble bow> "Practicing oragami" and the "guts and glory" military bumps rule.

BK and it doesn't matter ~ "lovers embrace" and "playing mission impossible" -- good, lascivious military fun...

I shall have to spend a lot of time to make a worthy bump.

Sarah~ Yes, I do believe that love is so pure an emotion that when it finds our soul at the right time it does start a clean slate there. And every aria is different and beautiful and yes achingly sad at times. But just as the soaring crescendos are felt with beauty in the soul, so can the heartbreaking solos be felt with that same beauty. Like everything in nature, love has a duality and a balance that must exist in unity.
