riggs---i have to say "it's alright ma (i'm only bleeding)" is one of my top favs...he sums up everything in that one..."desolation row" is another great one...i hear you with the tough call thing though...it's hard to pick favs...he's got something for every occasion...i'd say that "blood on the tracks" is my fav relationship cd...i only listen to it when i'm torn up about romance though...spent many a night driving down moonlit country backroads singing along with that cd...

"sad eyed lady of the lowlands" and "sarah" really hit me hard too...something about the guy writing to his ex wife/love of his life...the honesty kills me...beautiful songs...

enough of my rambling

alrighty....i have questions.

for all my broken and mending hearted birdies! i wonder how to start over again....i guess i am still mending after the last one...not knowing where to go, and i'm not sure how to let alot of that pain go, and just go on. guess alot of the answers don't come when your 22. so if anyone has any advice....i would greatly appreciate it, in this forum of love......
Oh Sarah girl......18 again.......

That is so close to something I knew in my life, down to the ages---and was crafted with such raw beauty...I am proud of you!

One thing will always, and forever make you feel that again---and that is squaring your shoulders, looking a man in the eye, old lover or not, and saying "Here's my heart." And i know what it's like to hope that a guy will include his heart with the package attached to the toys....I spent a lot of time alone till I was 20 becuase generationally guys expected you to "put out", and not involve your emotions.....a trick I didn't manage well. I had to like one quite a bit to sleep with one...and my heart tended to follow the rest of me.....

It is a dirty trick for a guy to share intimacy and get bent out of shape if you fall for him....(sorry guys---i know the blender has grown ups in it, and even gentlemen, but we ladies could tell you tales!) That Madonna/Whore stuff runs deep.....

Sarah love----have a hug on me, okay? We've been there sweet sister, and wet our pillows with tears for the unworthy, who made us feel like nothing---and cursed ourselves for getting hurt. And we've all had a love we regret losing who made us feel young, and heady, and sweet......
Sarah: I think writing about your love, every ounce of what you feel in any direction, will bring great insight to problems.(a little elf whispered that into my ear) Plus the work of art for later reference. Wish I had done that at 22...(sigh)

As for the addiction thing, well mine is so bad that I have decided that sunshine and love poems are about all I need to sustain life lately..LOL

Gala: You know, you have had this really great happy glow lately. Something must be going on.

I have no idea what you mean......I'm just enjoying Fall immensely...(trying to dim huge face splitting grin) Really...

Giggling...trying to appear solemn and dignifed...collapsing into laughter....
Riggs ~ Good job! I like "A Minor" and "The fastest way to few". I sense a guppy/dylan influence...
