guppy: corkboard is fabulous. especially the last lines - it's refreshing to have someone throw reality in your face from time to time. :-) because we're all stinky, hopeful creatures - and it's important to remember the stinky part.

Welcome to Monday ..... the weather here is crazy at the moment..... its a lovely day.... but the cool wind tells tales on the rain thats heading in. Rumour has it there'll be a thunderstorm tonight --- how can I not love Spring????

Thank you for your kind words, but let me point you to the newest submission. Today's Lesson..

As you can see..the Princess is no more.
The verse that rose and rolled so easily from me
Now stumbles, staammers and stops.

Where dawn once was the opening curtain
for each act of my day to be enjoyed and cherished
Now lies a stage best lit for tragedy.

Put away your jealousy, and listen to the keening
the high and lightless greif that echoes
the soundless suffering that now endures.

There lives no need for those like me
I have become an artifact
a reference to another age.

If muteness finds a nest in me
it will build within that moon washed empty bed
and keep me company with the shadows of what was.

Thank you, alas, thank you.

ya know.....

i myself am one who has been heartbroken many a time....read my poetry, ha! (i think alot of us are a bunch of lonely hearts)

but....

i still believe, firmly. That, being heartbroken is a different thing then depending solely on love for existance, and i mean love of another person.

that shouldn't be your sustanance, or your means for survival in this world. and if we are only out there for the sole purpose of somehow finding someone to love us or visa versa, we ain't getting anywhere!

i myself, would much rather find a peace and solitude within myself that is complimentary to myself, and find love for myself first and foremost, and hopefully, one day that one person will compliment that, and it will be an added bonus. something to overall make life better, but it is not on a "life is not anything without that one perfect person" ideal.

there are plenty of other things to fill my life and make it satisfactory. and i convinced, that the longer you wait for love, the better it will be....

but there other things that must be done first, and lived and fulfilled before that happens, and until that happens i plan on doing all of that to my fullest!!!!

and thus concludes my thought :)
guppy: that raw animal smell is the best of all and I loved the line too. loved the poem. orchids have been a passion for a bit now. got a new red one that has not bloomed yet, from hawaii. probably in shock from being moved from paradise to hillbilly heaven...lol

Standswithasmile: Woah horse, you mean the princess died? Wow. Wanna go hang gliding? lol (in line after deevaa) lol
