Chris~
After watching "Kurt & Courtney," I just want to say that I will NEVER be Courtney to your Kurt. I will never buy another Hole cd. I know it's important to separate an artist from their personal life (Woody Allen...Jim Morrison...Oliver Stone...Ed Abbey...etc.)but I will never again rise to that witch's defense when you and other people say that she was a golddigger and Kurt wrote all her songs. I don't know enough to say that I think she actually had Kurt murdered, but I think it's safe to say that she drove him to suicide. I know the suicidal tendencies were always there and the drugs certainly didn't help, but that bitch is WACK. If I had to live with someone like Courtney Love I'd probably blow my brains out, too.

BK ~ I think it's the March wind and the fact that we've had rain for five weekends in a row! And my honey has been in CO on business for the last few days. I've been sleeping on his pillow that smells like him, and it gave me the idea for 'Sensual'. He's coming home today :-)

Echo ~ You must read 'The Red Tent'. It's a wonderful woman's story set in Biblical times, but really takes you back to the simplistic subject of your 'Full Moon'. It gave me a fresh perspective as did your poem! Thanks.

Misti ~ You've heard it before, but you write with such honesty, it's incredible. You can write something interesting about every routine day of your life. I feel like we're watching you on "Real World"! Most people could never be so straight forward. Did you guys ever think of submitting your screenplays to the greenlight.com (I think) contest that Matt Damon/Ben Affleck sponsor? I just read where the chose a winner and funded $1 million for a movie and also $500,000 for the first runner up.
your short minded view of courtney love is truly pathetic. how can you even put any stock in that movie? all it does is pick over kurt's bones and make a profit from his death. those closest to kurt have said, and continue to say that his relationship with courtney extended his life. she is an incrediably strong and smart woman who helped kurt defend himself against all those vultures who wanted to tear him apart for their own profit. i think suicide was inevitable for kurt, but thanks to courtney we were lucky to have him around just that much longer. courtney is not afraid to say what she thinks. whenever there is a strong woman there are always those who will always seek to weaken her and damage her character. if only there were more women like courtney and less of the spineless waifs we are suppose to strive to be.
whatever. For many years I admired the fuck out of Courtney Love. I memorized every song on "Live Through This." I loved her for going to the Academy Awards in a thrift shop dress and tiara. Since Kurt's death, I've read about their relationship and about Courtney pre-Kurt. Ever heard of a chick named Kat Bjelland? Lead singer of Babes in Toyland? You should read about her fractured friendship with Courtney.
...Not that my opinion of Courtney Love matters, seeing as how I've never met her and probably never will, but from what I've gleaned from "Kurt & Courtney" and various interviews and magazine articles, Courtney Love is a shallow, opportunistic, name-dropping legend in her own mind who made herself over when Kurt died. Gone is the ironic, "brilliant" ballbuster. She is nothing more than one more fake Hollywood diva with much attitude and not much to back it up. I somehow doubt she'll ever top "Live Through This." She doesn't have to. She's sittin' pretty on top of the whoredog world.

Thank you so much for your kind compliments. I started writing about a year ago, when I got my first PC. Since then I am obsessed with writing. I think being single for the first time in my life, had a lot to do with the obsession for writing now also. Somehow it feels great to unload all the pain from the past onto paper, ridding myself of it forever. Thanks again for reading and enjoying my stuff. Harem......
Re. the Kurt/Courtney debate:

I don't know what to think. 'Kurt and Courtney' was entertaining, but, at the same time, clever propaganda. Which is not to say that it didn't paint an accurate picture in many respects. Courtney is a name-dropper. She is--in the manner of Madonna and others--more a tireless self-promoter than brilliant artist. And, judging from her interviews, she is either (a) high a lot of the time or (b) a ditz. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.
I know Dubal personally and his poetry is from his heart. Whatever he is struggling with he writes down. How do you know that what he is dealing with right now isn't romantic? He is not preaching. He loves God with all his heart and what he and I have both found in our salvation is a love like no other. His heart yearns to tell others of the joy that he has found. He turns to God for his strength and that is what his poetry is all about...a love greater than any human love!!!

My poetry is romantic, for I love my God, only cause he loved me first. I have a personal relationship with the creator of this universe. What you say or think has little affect on the meaning of the poetry cause I believe God knows the heart of man and knows mine is in the right focus. Wow! Just talking about it makes my heart beat that much faster that my GOD loves me. He wants a relationship with you to, but if you push him away, he'll never be able to help.
