Bravo Tanq! It's easy enough not to read your poems Duball, now just quit hanging out on the comments page and jerking everyones chains...lol Religion is a private issue. I always keep the dogs on the porch on weekends for the door thumping bible talkers, keeps them away. Do we need to get the big dogs out, or will you just politely stop?
The Blender has always been romance related. In the classical sense. The love in "love blender" is meant to be the romantic love of one person for another, not the love of you for God, God for you, a friend for a friend, a parent for a child, or me for a Colorado Chicken Burrito Grande with a splash of sour cream from Boca Grande on Mass Ave between Porter and Harvard Square. And if you ever had one of these burritos, you would know what a great feat of will it is not to convert the site to burritograndeblender.com.

Besides, random preaching to strangers probably doesn't provide you with much bang for your buck.

Sometimes I submit poetry to the Blender that isn't necessarily romance related. It's just a way of releasing the feelings that I have pent up inside. I see you doing the same thing. Sometimes feelings are so strong that they just can't be kept inside. You have to share them with everyone. I don't understand why everyone is slandering you. It's not like they're forced to read your poems. My advice would be to keep it up. I admire your faith. Keep spreading the word.
There are more then two of us that appriciate the poems of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! I love the Lord my Savior with all my heart and some of the poems I write are are romantic and some are religious, some are about friendship and some are about family. I don't write to please you and get good comments on the Blender Board, I write for myself and to get things out of my system. I think alot of you should not critisize someone because of their beliefs or how they express them. Just listen take to heart, ponder what you have heard and condider it. If you can honestly say that you have seriously thought about the things that have been said and written, then so be it. Conviction comes with time. God's love and truth will reach some of you in time. God came to seek and save those who are lost.

Duball and DuDoll, we are happy that you found what you did. PLEASE we ask kindly that you leave the rest of us alone. Write all the poems you want, just stop your preaching on the boards. E-Gads, when the owner of the place even nicely asks you to quit and you don't, I would KICK YOU OUT, but then he's nicer than me...LOL LOL LOL

It seems obvious to me that what you need most is to discover your Buddha-nature. Wait...hear me out... Your persistent use of personal pronouns tells me that you are still mired in ego and self-identification. Look inward...connect with your inner light...seek earnestly and you may know nirvana in this lifetime and thereby remove yourself from this wheel of death and rebirth. Meditate, follow your breath, recite a mantra of your chosing, perhaps...but realize that we are all--all but those few bodhisatvas among us, those who Know but have chosen to serve as exemplars for the unenlightened--stuck hopelessly in the illusion that we call life. There is a way out, and it is not through further ego-identification. We are not our bodies. Or our minds. "Life is pain," said the Buddha, and he was right. He knew. He found a way to transcend all the suffering around him. And so can we... I pray that you awaken, that we all awaken. Nirvana can be ours. We already are all that we seek... Namaste, my friend. Shanti...

/me looks at DubalPoet and casts "protection from evangelism, 15 ft radius". /me then draws his holy symbol and attempts to "Turn" zealots. Away foul zealots! I cast my doubt at thee! Away!
DubalPoet ~ God knows how I feel. Now so do you. "Those who come to Him not of their own volition, but as the result of badgering, habit, or internet evangelism do not come to Him at all." Michael 3:13
