Nicely put. It’s a simple request, but would you extend Chris the same courtesy? Could YOU listen to him in a thoughtful, nonjudgmental way? Can YOU ponder the truth of his beliefs with an open mind and an open heart? He does have a point.

If you can, then maybe you and DuBal could go one step farther. Perhaps you could respect the varied intellects and faiths of this on-line community by simply contributing and commenting on romantic, secular (or at least non-denominational) poetry
(or really great burritos.)
Let's talk about Angelina Jolie. I love her in "Gia," "Girl Interrupted" and "Pushing Tin." Watched her in her first scene in "Gone in Sixty Seconds" then got bored and left the room.
...When I started writing my second screenplay (I'm on Scene 74! Yay! Sixteen more scenes to go!)I envisioned Angelina playing the lead role. If I ever actually sell the script maybe she could be persuaded. That would be awesome. Chris and I could go bowling with Angelina and Billy Bob.
I also love her dad (Jon Voight) in "Anaconda" and "Midnight Cowboy."

Ok, guys.... I am about to make a fool out of myself. Wish there were someone here to stop me... But what the heck, I am anonymous.... and often a fool. So here goes.

I am pretty choked up with all the reading I have been doing here on the love blender lately. The out pouring of feelings, heartaches, disappointments, loss, intense caring, loving and being loved, sharing, pain, and every human emotion possible, both bold, frail, and fierce.... has really gotten to me. Everyone has been so open.... so willing to share.... even the most intimate secrets of their heart....
I feel like I have inherited a family... Like I finally found other humans like myself. I have often felt like a freak, where I never fit in with anyone.... always been a loner.... so out of place .... but here in my safe anonymous character, for the first time in my life, I can share without fear of judgement, recrimination, or rejection..... I sit here writing this , With tears in my eyes.... I thank everyone here for allowing me into the chambers of their minds and hearts.... for sharing with me and the world..... For allowing me to be a part of all this..... An outlet for my soul...... I don't know anyone on the loveblender personally..... but I am slowly feeling a very close friendship with each and every writer. Thank you so much..... And forgive me for this maudlin display of mushy sentimentality...... I love yah man..... But you can't have any of my Bud Light..... *Sigh.....
You're writings today, have been keeping me in a tremendous emotional state... I applaud your style, candor, and depth of feelings. I especially liked "I Can't get Warm"....
and "If these Walls Could Talk." However, my favorite was..
"Reply to your Proposal of Marriage." I can't thank you enough for sharing your intimate, painful secrets. I need to know that I am not alone in much of my past feelings and sufferings..... Thank you so much....

To Echolocation,
So I see you are borderline Genius.... You made me laugh, you made me smile... you made me *Sigh.... You took lines and lines of writing and debating and tossing and turning, and cooking and baking, and thinking and loving, and battered it up, carved it out, made it simple and straight..... and served it on a golden plate...... BRAVO.
and thanks.
Thank you for the compliment on my "Randy" thing! Unfortunately, Randy is very real. My mom is the woman he's obsessed with. My mom has been married to Joe for two years now and Randy is still bothering her. It's really bizarre.
...As other Blender regulars can attest, I've been sharing my angst and psycho dramas with this community since '97. Don't ever feel foolish for expressing yourself in your submissions or on the Board. I've actually submitted stuff and posted comments while drunk off my ass. It's fun. I highly recommend it. That reminds me...I can't remember the last time I had a Shiner Bock or Rolling Rock. I've got Saturday circled in green on my calendar.
...Regarding "Playing by Heart"- I'll have to rent it next time I go to Blockbuster.
