Hey Kenny!!
I know it is a weird question but could you please tell if you are female or male??? I have read both of your poems and I think they are wonderful. I really want to know if they were adressed to a man or a woman......h.

ps: keep on writing..I am waiting for the next.

h. Well actually I'm female. Thanks for the kind words. I don't write much, but maybe I'll write more now you've given me a bit more confidence.
Mirabeau ~ I've missed you so... Your latest is so very real.

And Madison ~ I thought about you last week when I was visiting in Austin. Do you live in the city? You write so much about the beach I wasn't sure where you were located.
I also love your last submission.

squeen – wish I’d known you were in town, visiting your sister, right? I live more to the hill country nearby Austin, not in the city, and spend as much time as I can at the ocean or lake – love the water (and mountains). We were just at Lake Austin earlier this week checking out some windsurf spots (Windy Point) and at the beach over the weekend, which sparked the jellyfish poem. It’s not about a man-of-war at all, but symbolizes a deeper meaning of a personal experience. I’m glad you enjoyed it and hope it made some kind of sense to you. - Madi

Madi ~ yes, visiting my sister and her new baby. We actually didn't leave the house much but it was so relaxing. She lives in N. Austin on Avenue H. She was Caroline Brock, now Wilson. I know Austin's big, but she's been there awhile. I know I can't stay away for long, so I'll email you next time before I come out :-)
Hello Karis - I was born in the East, very close to Calcutta - but lived all my life in the south, in Hyderabad, Capital of A.P. State. I have been to New Delhi a number of times on my way to Rajasthan, the desert state of India, visiting the Moghul era palaces and forts. I am going after almost a year and half and really looking forward to it. In fact today is my last day at work before I take off for a 20 hour flight to India. Wohooo....it would be one hell of a time in the melting heat.

Have a good one.
Hey Kenny
Thank you for that quick reply. I must say that i really like the "sound" and language of your two poems. It sounds stupid but I also want to say that the content of "The Garden of the Imagination" was so familiar to me that I nearly thought it was written by someone I know well. Some phrases in "Light" were also familiar, but that must be pure coincidence or my imagination. Please keep on putting your heart into words....h.

ps: I would really appreciate your feedback on my poems.

I don't know really what to put or what to say, but this is a poem i made up...

What can I say?
Poems are just too blahzay.
Your work all day
For little or no pay
Cause I can't think of what to say
Cause my head is stuck with hay
I rather go outside and play
Then write a poem that is gay
There must be a better way
To pull a big fat A.

This is a poem that I made up for school.
P.S. The poems that I just read in this web site are never good. I hope someday I can be like them.

To the soul's desires
The body listens
What the flesh requires
Keeps the heart imprisoned
What the spirit seeks
The mind will follow
