Everyone~ I think I have lost my skill! I'm sure that everyone knows that when we get in a certain mood, we can write forever. But what do you do when the mood changes and you can't find the words to express a perma-grim??? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated since I'm not familiar with this and am not sure how to capture it into words. I miss writing and want to gush it all out but don't know how.

butterfly~ I am familiar with two types of "perma-grim" from some references some time back: one is the peruvian satanic verse, and the other has to do with a man thinking as a woman making love to a woman. I doubt that any of us here at Blender could help you on either subject since I've seen few here ever who wrote on goth, black, satanic, extreme heavy metal, or things too far out on the fringes of the webmaster's preferences or community consensus here. If I am wrong on what you translate as "perma-grim" then please excuse me. It is either offer this or ignore the question from you otherwise. I've read your account as a whole, and I would imagine you are in the first category, no? I wasn't sure with the carney/carnival worker and awol military mix in your last work, but gather this is what you are writing about in your first entry with the dark angel. żż?? ... Rennie

Butterfly03 - I have attempted 3 poems today - some didn't get to the finished stage or didn't capture what I wanted to say. Keep at it, you will break through. Wishing you success. (And dying to ask what your intended meaning of perma-grim was when you wrote it in your comment... lol).

"Perma-grin" stands for "permanent grim" and is kinda like this- :>, :}, YIPPEE, HORRAH, BUBBLE OVER WITH JOY!!!

Chances~ The above definition isn't a fraction of the feelings that it brings, and everyone has their own view of what it means. For me it is that feeling that you get when your just happy to be alive, the skies are blue, and the flowers smell wonderful. ("Perma-grin" is also that huge smile that you just can't shake after a heavenly romp in the sheets with someone special (but not in my case)).

Rennie~ You see, I've just left a long, bad relationship with a bad fiance and alot of my work reflects that. I'm basically evolving into a person I've never known before... me. As oppose to what someone thought or said I should be.
The goth thing, ect. is not for me but it is intersting that you get that from my postings. I'll have to re-read my own work and look at things from that view to see how it would be related to that catagory, it would be intriguing.
butterfly~ whoa! what a typo can do for a read! "perma-grim" is supposed to be "perma-grin" from you. Yippee! Hurrah! let 'er rip with the feelings. Glad to see your happiness, butterfly. We get so deep into saying "I love you" when we are happy with a lover that we use fewer words and more real time with them. It is when we are in misery that we often write volumes. You might start with listing why you are so happy and elaborate poetically on each point from as many directions as you can manage :). My guy hangs the sun up in the morning, and put the moon out for a walk across the sky at night (no matter how many others will tell you here that it's their guy that does this). My fella hasn't done anything like part the Red Sea, but he can sure give me a love cruise on it. He just called to tell me how good the ocean looked with the sun glittering off of it. I'm just happy if he hands me my coffee (and write about it). Nothing is too mundane or dull to write about when you're in love, butterfly ..... Rennie
