On Finding A Lady
You came to me with one knee bent,
I gave my outstreched hand.
You knew the ways of that festive world,
I was new to the land.
You brought the soft-petalled pink rose,
I placed it in my heart.
You praised my hidden beauty,
I knew we had to part.
You took sword and shield in hand,
I fought by your side.
You told me of your life and dreams,
I never once tried to hide.
You held me close and kissed my lips,
I saw the stars above.
You, my knight in shining armour,
I, your lady love.

In Our Eyes
In your eyes, I am peace;
A calm breeze to soothe your wild soul,
A soft caress against your cheek,
A warm heart to cling to on cold nights.
In my eyes, you are passion;
A sweet promise whispered in my ear,
A strong embrace in the rain,
A fierce kiss on my wanton lips.
In our eyes, we are love;
Someone to hold close,
Someone to tell your troubles and joys,
Someone to walk beside on the winding path of life.

Vigil
A Lady stands watch atop a castle wall
Awaiting the return of her Love.
A Love with sparkling eyes of blue
That show a passion only for her.
Then, through the dark night
Lit only by the stars in the heavens,
He returns to her from the battlefield
With roses in hand.
And on those cold stones
A warm fire of love is found.
