Sunshine, My Angel

Night has fallen in my life.
My Sunshine has faded.
Realization of actions and deeds
  comes to late for immediate healing.
My life is dark and hope seems to be in vain.
Sunshine has lost faith in me and that
  fact tears my heart to pieces.
Stubbornness and pride prevented
  the expression of true feelings and emotions.
For this mistake, I will never forgive
  myself for making.

One last chance is all I need
  to express the importance of
  her love for me.
I feel the love she still has for me
  hidden deeply in her reluctant heart.
I can see it in her eyes and feel it
  in her touch.
A Glance, A Stare, A tear, A gentle caress.
Even though I am far from her heart,
  I must let her know that she is close to mine.
She occupies my mind and restores
  my faith in God.
Faith and Hope are my best friends now.
They are all I have to keep me whole.

She is my Angel and I need
  her guidance and love.
I will win it back, I must,
  it is all that matters now.
If I lose her, the love in my soul
  may disappear forever.
