Your Eyes

I look into your eyes and hope to see
The love you say you feel for me
I look in them searching, hoping
To see what I long to see
I see nothing but emptyness
No love, no longing, no needing
Your eyes cold and unfeeling
Stare back at mine
My eyes, filled with feeling
You search them and see all that they are
For my eyes are loving longing needing
Not cold and empty
Where is the love you say you feel for me.
