The lonely soul in the cold pouring rain
Each drop whispers sadness and pain
Blended into salt tears
Nothing is as it appears

Can't plant seeds without the land
Alone, Barefoot in the cool, wet sand
Poetic heart open and free
A kind spirit no one will see

Open wide the disfigured cover
Turn the pages a yearned for lover
Romantic words long to be spoken
From a human heart shattered and broken
