I was thinking about our history
thinking it's such a mystery
it reminds me of what i want to be
in a place that's meant for you and me

we live, we learn from what we do
i'm trying to change to be with you
please think about the things we knew
when i think of love i think of you

maybe we could find a home
a place where love is all our own
look what time's already shown
we just can't leave each other alone

thoughts of you stream through my head
memories of all those times in bed
when we loved until our needs were met
your skin against mine and the things you said

but for now it seems we need to be apart
to disolve these obstacles before we start
in the mean time please hold this in regard
i won't stray to another cause you have my heart
