Thank you for putting my daughters poem here, and Thanks
to Suzanne for submitting it, I hope it will help someone
to find Hope and a new life.
Thank you Marymoe98 I love you, Mom

I have a suggestion for you. How about adding some
sonnets or poems that we females can send to our
fellow's?
Well, I have a suggestion for YOU: why don't you write a sonnet or poem for your fellow? Handmade poems are the best, and besides, I only add what people send me.

this site is soooooo cool! I know I'm not the first one to say that but,
the poetry is the tops and even the blender with the pulsating hearts is
awesome! I'm a poet so I guess I should think of a better word than awesome...
ummm...esquisite!!!! so anyway...I will submit some of my melodrama soon,
you can check out my perpetual page of love...that's how I found this spot...
I was looking for some love themed sites for my page...you can take a look...

wow. what a find! what a jewel. what a gem. obviously the language
center in my brain has been so stunned with pleasure at stumbling
upon the blender, that i am having trouble articulating any intelligent
praise, but just wow.

wonder where some of those came from. It also inspired me to
come up with my own list:

*Berkeley
*Hilton
*Santa Barbara
*Frogs
*Certain movies
*"Is There Life Out There" by Reba McEntire
*"You Were Meant For Me" by Jewel

*Gold glitter
*Concerts
*The Secret Garden musical
*My driveway at one, two, three in the morning
*The floor and couch of my living room (no comment!)
*My front door
*roses
*dreamcatcher
Well, that was fun. Thanks for the idea, Kirk!

hey mona: shouldn't a journalist know the difference
between "here" and "hear?"

just wondering...

Now now, spelling flames aren't nice. (Though it's obvious the Blender gets its fair share of them.)

this site is superb. i come and check up on all the new
submissions whenever i'm online. the best part is how
realistic all the writing is on here. real life experiences
make the absolute best poems.
thanks for putting me on the front page!

and to erin: keep submitting. i find myself often taking
your exact point of view. and i adore your writing.

Jessica,
I appreciate the compliment and encouragement. No, I have
never published a book of my poetry but that has always been
a dream of mine. When I was a freshman at Southwest Texas
State in San Marcos I won the Gates-Thomas Excellence in
English award for a poem I submitted to the campus literary
magazine. That is my only claim to fame! Right now I am
working on my "second" novel (I trashed the first one, it
was awful). Well, thanks again!!

What is going on in the romantic life beyond 60?
Can you give me a clue? thanks
No idea. Anyone else?

This is for all the people who send in soft porn stuff.
I realize this is a romantic web site, but if you are
going to try to express your lust or love or whatever in
sensual terms, cut your teeth on some Henry Miller or
Anais Nin first. You might learn something.

This is for JM. I loved Lusting After You On Laundry Day!
What beautiful wording! You really have a command of the
language. Hope to read some more of your poetry in the near
future!!!

alison:
thanks for the complement, i feel the same about your
poems too! my favorites are 'love in a washing machine'
and 'butterfly eyes'. the way you express your thoughts
and feelings is very real.

Jack Gilbert is a poet of rarity. If there are any other fans
of his out there I would like to hear from them. I've found little
about his work on the internet.
Same here-- he deserves more of a presence on the web.

I wrote a thank you note the the man who sent me one of
your poems for introducing me to your magnificent site....
I have added a link to my homepage and recommended others to
come to it and enjoy it as much as I have. I especially en-
joyed the one sent to me called "The Invitation" and thank
the person that wrote it for looking so deep into our souls.
I was not blessed with the gift of writing, but I know when
something touches my soul and have always appreciated good
prose and poetry and you are to be commended for your ex-
cellent site. Keep up the good work and again. Thank you:)

Sssshhhh,

Aha, Silence.

...Come to think of it I never use the web like this.
Touched instead of shouting and clicking away.

Thanks I'll be coming back.

greetings jaap.
