A Rainbow With No End

i dream in soft whispers
of you and i
laying in a velvet meadow
b'neath a silken sky
with ribbons of white air
caressing us
teasing us
causing us to blush
and with each graceful swoop and tickling pass of her wind
we giggle innocently and tease her back
with gentle caresses of our own
losing our maturity, abandoning all guilt
for a few stolen moments of unadulterated bliss
we kiss as necessarily as we breath as we become one with nature
caressing it with a bit of our own
skin exposed to skin, against air
air exposed to skin, against sky
kisses so soft, even blue, yet sublime
we could cry it is so heavenly
and then gleefully swim through a channel of our own salty tears
to reach the end
which is reportedly a rainbow without one
it is then that i wake
...with a sigh
