It's All Our Fault (but that's no sin)

It's All Our Fault

(But That's No Sin)

We can place the blame on destiny if you desire,

But we know better.

It's all our fault, albeit unknowingly

That our world is in this mire.

Your heart was right, intentions honorable.

But like the tide follows the moon

Hearts like this were sure to come

It all was quite inevitable.

Spiritual matters; ones of the heart,

Are insistent ghosts.

Restless bones of past loss and suffering.

Slow to surface, but once they rise,

Rattle my chains of bondage, insistent to be free.

Chaffed, blistered, starved for attention

Restless bones of past Love past joy

Knocking on my heart, talkin' to me.

  Restless spirits arisen once more,

Cannot be faulted for wanting more and more, much more.

It's our fault you know, for plowing hearts, planting seeds.

It's all our fault you know, but that's not a sin....

Sure not a sin...

Never a sin.

Because true Love always wins in the end.
