If only you knew
what I went through
You'd let me be
or let me be free
I wish only to tell you
and be honest and true
With all of the knowledge
that I have
But somethings need to
be kept hidden
Away from where
they are forbidden
For your sake and the
sake of some others
If only you knew

My heart crys out to say
But betrayal is not the way
I wish you could help me
but times can only see
We talked tonight
and I longed to show you
the light
Sharing my knowledge would
only put doubts in others

What I have to keep true
In my heart a friend
helps a friend,
Yet in helping one friend
