From that first day
when you followed me home

And in your car
the first time you kissed me
I dared
Then standing on the deck
while you played you guitar and sang softly to me
I dreamed
But that one night 
in your arms for the first time
Ever
Just the fact that I was there
and so willing to allow you what I had no other
in that single precious moment 
I Knew
Knew that you were the one
Never had I felt so treasured
So protected and safe
Emotions surging through me that to this day
I cannot put into words
But I knew.
I am in love
And forever yours.
