THE ANGEL OF LOVE
Have you found that special one?
The one you really need
The one who brings you happiness
After you shed the tears
Do you hear the laugh, that brings you up?
Even when your down
Have you known the smile
The eyes
The hands
The feet
The legs
The hair
And even a little frown
The beautiful lips and mouth
The mouth where you plant your kiss
The kiss that sets your soul on fire
A kiss you can't resist
Do you feel as though your one?
As you make love on a stary night
Lying on the beach
With no one else in sight
Have you known the thrll, and joy of love?
Or has love passed you by?
Do you long for that perfect someone?
To love before you die
I had the strangest dream
On a cold and windy night
A voice came from the darkness
A voice as cold as ice
The voice was full of evil
Jealousy and sin
The voice said, "now your mine"
You will never love again
What ever love you've known
I'm going to take away
So come into my world
Of loneliness and hate
I tried to pull away
But the force was much to strong
Pulled into the terrible depths
Soon I would be gone
Then suddenly the darkness
Was shattered by a golden light
She came from the sky and mountains
She came to me in flight
The colors of the rainbow
Were streaming from the sky
A great white stallion came to her
Somewhere from above
She spread her arms, and took me in
Saved by the Angel of Love
The evil one reached out
And tried to pull me back
It was then that the great white stallion
Made the fatal attack
She drew me close and kissed me
She called for her dolphin of love
He looked like a shooting star
As he rose from the depths of the sea
As he broke the surf
He showered the world
With love for you and me
I had found the Angel of Love
The one I'd always dreamed of
Deep in the dream of the night
It had all turned out so right
Suddenly, it was over
As quickly as it had begun
Dazed and shaken, I opened my eyes
I had lost that special one
Nervously, I looked about
In my lonely room
Then I saw streak of moonlight
Shining through the gloom
As the moonlight spread across our bed
It carressed your lovely face
Didn't I Love her
Didn't I Tell her
Didn't I ever See
I've always had the Angel of Love
She was lying next to me
