love demon
Sometimes I feel a little demon lives amongst us
who, with his beady lil' eyes and long skinny green fingers
thrives on twisting the words of unbeknownst lovers
Turning their 'I love yous' into 'I despise your greasy, grimy
stinkin', slimey, friggin', fuckin guts, so get out of my life forever
and don't even show your face around here for a bazillion and one years
if even then at all!'
And this evil lil' demon is sly
showing his ugly face only at a moments notice
and then ,for just a milisecond
leaving in such haste that you are left spinning
in the turbulance of his wake
your mind and that of your lover's left scrambled
by words coming out of, but not from within either one of you
And how eeire to be peering into the face of a monster
who appears to be frightened by you.
