Blowing kisses at the moon

Once again my thoughts turn to you
And I coast through another day.
Memories of you, me and a star-filled sky
Keep me sustained through one more night.

And now as I lay me down to sleep
I'll blow a kiss at the moon
And pray that an Angel of mercy
Will carry it to you.

Only time will tell if our love
Can withstand this test of faith.
But if time can alter mountains, faith part the red sea
Then I know they can bring you home to me.
