Yesterdays Moon
Yesterdays moon cast a glow that began a world within us.
A flame that burned inside our souls.
Feeling that surrounded and captivated.
Our past created passion that consumed us.
With truth in love.
Time drifted in and out of our union,
like life forgotten.
The moments faded.
Slowly.
We lost years in a bond with no future.
Our love faded away and became lost in the past.
Yesterdays moon provided a beginning to beauty,
with an end that has no answers.
