Over Within
And you move over the face of the waters...
the waves shudder at your approach
with quivering ripples, only to reflect your image
a million times over.
Your dripping tears chime in unison on the surface
announcing the deepest core of humanity, beyond
despair, sorrow, happiness, excitement.
They fall to exist and to expel their energy about
this place with echoes of the very primal need
to simply feel.
Such is the music of the currents of your very self
as your countenace refuses petty expression.
You beckon the stars with your knowledge and they sit
silently in acquiescence.
Halos erupt innumerable, each mimicking a breath of life
for every second of every day taken by every one.
Ringing with a consonance in union with the rhythm of your heart,
the water trembles beneath, not in fear, but in recognition
of the simplest, grandest scheme of order and entropy,
existence and annihilation.
And you continue over us entirely within such a frequency, expecting
no more or less than a concord with the horizon of our beliefs.
And while your tears fall, and halos rise, we fall and rise synchronously.
Dreams and fears meld into the greatest holy sound...
let us melt in this ocean.
