Paranoia
Slighty askew
is my point of view
when it comes to speaking with her?
Somewhat awry,
this idea of mine
that we be anything but demure?
No.
I don't think it amiss
that before we kiss
all be said in full.
For thoughts go astray
and we should not play
if one is partial stranger.
So,
Speak up dear
I do want to hear
if all has been said before.
To love all of you
I must know what is true
of the thoughts and acts of yore.
You see,
It's good for me
if I can see
that you're a person I can trust.
But have no fear,
I should make this clear
It's not like I'm keeping score.
