Rave

I had a marveous time alst night
I went out with the girls
Everything was planned just right
We took the city and the world

We went to dinner then to clubs
And danced the night away
None of us looking for love
Only for fun and play

So we let ourselves go free
And really had a ball
We picked up numbers; two or three
With no intention to call

But when they dropped me off
They drove away so fast
Nothing left but key and lock
And memories of the past
Back to the Heart-on-Sleeve Corner
