and she'll wipe the tears
from my eyes with her hands
and hold me, comfort me,
like her life depended
on how happy i'm going to be
someday, when the sun is setting

and take me on a walk by the sea
and open my heart to the beauty
of a sunset viewed with someone
who really cares for me
someday, she'll give me a hug
like she don't want to let me go
and she'll hold me all night
and fill my dreams with her love
and i'll wake up and still
find her there beside me
her face content and happy
someday, when the weather's okay
