Scales of Justice
i am so bubbly right now
i cannot restrain myself
the joy of having you in my life is overwhelming
i see myself a princess
with all the gems and gold of the world
sitting in my lap
the rest of the world being left with trinkets
if that at all
i am a thief
i feel lucky, i feel elated, i feel guilty
so i whisper of our love silently
and sparingly
for the most part
because i am afraid to speak
for fear the scales of justice may hear of my joy
and try to balance
