In Silence and Solitude
In Silence and Solitude
lies something deep and new
Where warriors fight and death can reign
there is a battle worthy through
The shadows cloak this fleeting flame
with gaunted hands upon the reign
His enemy, his life of sorrow loneliness
is too much to have ordained.
With life and love enraptured in
this warriors aching heart
His hateful foe leaves nothing left,
denying every part
This man, though a man no longer
dies with every step he takes
Longing, every ounce of him
for the next fortnight's awake
The fight ensued though troubled through
this warriors stillbeating heart
His vengeful foe had no more left,
partaking not a part
For, in Silence and Solitude
through all that's deep and new
Warriors shall fight, for death can't reign
for the battle's all but through
