Stupid

Beat me down and never let me
hit the ground,
Take me for granted and step
on my trust,
Smother my self-confidence with 
your achievements,
Slap me around and rub my nose
in my failures,
Stake my privacy out in public and
lie about our situations,
Show me how to fight and teach me
how to curse,
Scoop out my ability to forgive and
inquire me not to forget,
Morph me into cruel and create my
personality into a monstrosity,
Warp me worse off than where I started,
But,
        Please don't leave me
