Sunrise
i just watched the sun come up
the colors were amazing
the air was so crisp
it sent tingles throughout my body
to see such beauty is a gift
but that sight
that feeling
pales in comparison to you Sara
why do i love you so much
what is it about you
that makes me feel so strong
yet so weak
that makes my heart pound with excitement
why do i feel so much love
and sadness
you are magical Sara
you have captured my heart
and my love
just by being you
i sometimes think life is so cruel
because i know there is an angel
in this cold mean world
and i long for the love
this angel has to share
yet i am forbidden this love
yes life is cruel
but i know
