Tiger Eyes
flecks of amber
bittersweet brown eyes
enveloped in folds of yellow skin
tiger eyes gazing
restless pacing
as if caged
waiting for the right moment
pounce
pinning down
slow swat knockout
take a satisfying bite
eating you alive
everyone is meat
I can't believe it's not butter
margarine
parkay
you taste the same either way
new names
camoflague
do nothing
slow me briefly
hide your identity
momentarily
until the first
bite
i am
burning bright
in the forests of the night
Devour you
hungry
Save your bones
a Memorial
etched teeth marks
evidence of your payne
your vocabulary
as you resist
like your taste
excellent
Is it love?
or just hunger?
