worth
passion is a
two edged sword
and sometimes my soul
is beguiled by
outrageous accusations
I suppose it stopped
listening to the truth of you
when it figured it
knew everything it needed to
and all the answers are
supposed to be simple
and love is just supposed to
make sense
like midnight magic
wafting breezily over
the sheets of someone's bed
But it isn't that way
it's hard work
overcoming the inevitable
tides of hardship
but it's all worth it
