eat the lentils
eat the SPAM
cram 72 hours into a single smoggy day
say goofy things
buy me plastic teardrop trapped rings
and talk like a baby
maybe teach me the basic chords
on your out of tune guitar
and draw a Darwin design on the sole of my left foot
and put your toys in the tub
and rub my back until I fall asleep if you don't mind
and wind me up with your high school journal that begins with
a sketch of Elton John's ass and platform shoes
and don't lose the laugh you laugh
when I buzz like a deranged bumblebee
in your ear.
