I CARE

For all that I love and have loved,
For the beauty of life and music,
For the new blossoms and sweet spring,
For my heart that goes on stronger all the time…

For you and for me,
For the children all around me,
For your family and for mine,
For the sick and forgotten, I give my heart…..

For my country and the world I haven’t seen,
For your tears and those of my own,
For my knowledge of broken people,
For the broken hearted and the lost…..

For you and for me,
For you I give myself,
For them I give my thoughts,
For you I carry on in hope……

For those that  survive
Despite
Thenselves
And all
They see
And are
I salute
Your human
Endurance.

And the miracle of love
Which does not ask
Who are you
But says
I wait
In hope
For you
Alone
