The Intersection

Some time ago, walking on my path of life, I came to an intersection; my way crossed the one of another person. Fascinated by the look and the beauty of the woman standing there at this intersection, I stopped. I couldn’t say anything to her, words had no power at this moment, and when our eyes met, I felt like paralyzed. There were just the two of us, lost in space and time, looking at each other in a mysterious silence. Where did I want to go, where did I come from? I couldn’t remember – and it didn’t matter anymore. I felt that something had changed, that my life wouldn’t be the same as before. I no longer wanted to discover the world on my own, but to share all the experiences and pleasures of life with this unique woman. When we fi-nally both walked to the middle of the intersection and our hands touched, I was overwhelmed by the intensity and the beauty of true love. I’m so glad you stepped into my life and decided to go your way together with me, it’s wonderful to be at your side. I need you.
