Late
You blast me into outer space
And left me with that look on my face
That will never, ever be erased
From that corner of my memory banks.
Dazed and stunned, still I stand confused
With every breath, I stand to lose
Upon the threshold of being used
Because, you know, I never got your clues.
And now, don't you know what I mean?
Was I, forsay, the man of your dreams?
Did I ever fit into your scene?
And tell me, was I your sugar in cream?
For I wish that I understood
That you were hinting towards I should
Be loving you if only I would
But now it's to late to tell you I could.
