We're All The Sins Of Yesterday
i am so upset, confused and lights out
right up your alley and sideways
simple deeds have nothing on me...
i'm just a soul shaken from the tree
your hands, soft, breeze has gotten rowdy
your plans have fallen into, the wrong...minds
causing feature films to play...
we're all the sins of yesterday
except for me
it was twenty
years ago...
a sin...
brought me in...
and here i am...complaining
i am dillusional, tripping
frightening children, street-ways
"new things, new things, new things, bad things"
the love of money never got to me, he sings
horses parade..around the city
flat broke and suicidal tendencies
catch rides and poor deciples, singing
while sitting in pews and reading Bibles
except for me
it was simply
tears ago...
a plan
brought me in
and here i am...
......frowning
---------------------------
she just stared in his eyes as he stared into space
she looked up to the sky...praying for God's grace
she bent down to her knees to beg forgiveness
she brought him into this world and now he's killed it
