HE

               He
high in the open cool summer day
sits he as alone as he started this day
lost was he so lost in thought
great love has he but so far for naught
what do you wish for?
questioned he in minds eye.
do u need a man who's rich?
do u need one so very bold?
what do u want in ur own minds eye?
is it enough to have some one to hold?
ahh i guess not for its not enough
one must needs riches galore, be so built like a man.
price in person is not an option, or has ever been.
so why fight, why try to impress?
have u fall for some one not real, not me.
i am real says he to he, that's all i will ever be.
i have no riches, no treasure all i have is me
picking blades of grass to study, toss aside.
feeling quiet shade of tree.
of wind, nothing heard, little felt.
and of he? one more thought,
to truly mean i love you
was it ever enough?
