Precarious
Poets like Lovers
tread the night softly
until the moon drowns
with a sigh.
They sing amid the blades of grass that bend
with the subtle touch of
a wordless breeze.
Caressing tendrils of the mind
with flashing fires
Until the soul is soothed by light.
