Rainstorms Forecasted Tonight

Untitled

Rainstorms Forecasted

Lightening splits the dark sky

In a spider web of white

And somewhere a tree just fell to earth

Ripped from root

With wanton destruction and nonjudgmental power.

As the force of nature again asserts her dominion

On this world of arrogant, fragile humans.

But beware this dark night

As an equal force is afoot

Glorying in the fat, expectant raindrops

As they fall with merciless grace

Upon my smile

Running, rolling, rinsing another day's sin from a heart filled

With your name

Your laugh

Your smell and taste, your love.

And in perfect summation

I will pour into you

Drench your soul in liquid love

Flowing, filling

Finding every secret crook and juncture

Silky, Smooth

Sensuously serpentine

Wetting, washing

Warming your skin in ways your mind cannot conceive.

Drink deeply and taste the sweet nectar of tender regard

Tasting, tempting

Flowing, filling

Finding that single dry spot in your soul that has waited

Waited long and longer

For my love storm to strike

With wanton passion and unconditional regard

As the force of love asserts the ultimate dominion

On this world of arrogant, fragile fluid filled humans.

Drink deeply and long that I may be the tears that track

The arc of your cheek

And let the rest become a puddle

That will turn to steam

Bathing you in me

And my love.

Ever and anon,

Ever and anon.
