In a telephone conversation
I confess
that my life has become a re-run
like Bonanza Saturday specials
you say it's ok
and I wonder why
I'm not in Church confessing
because
you should never
make a potential lover your shrink
and I know you would save my life
if you could
I have become a kamikaze mutation of myself
and you are still sleeping
4 AM and perfectly warm
