Soul-Eyes
I see life as a dream,
you see it as reality,
if I could, I'd let you see it all through my eyes
but...you might be surprised at what you'd see.
Would you see the same people as me?
their colors and feelings and thoughts
Would you see them for who they really are
not some personality that they just bought
Would your sky mirror mine?
the amorphous clouds and flying birds
Would you see the same sun as me
radiate, not just the light, it's purpose serves
I see things different,
and that you may not know,
maybe that's why I have this feeling
there's something you don't want to show.
Where there's smoke there's fire,
I can smell it when your're around me
Yet you scheme and hide it,
I'm telling you, I won't just let them be.
I see you as you,
everything else disappears,
different colors and different hues
I see you, through all of your years.
Just as a warning now
I see you clearly and through
So if I tell you something before you were going to,
Please remember, I already knew.
