The Full Me
you love the full me gratefully
not dutifully
so beautifully we come together
all senses employed
and overjoyed
brimming over
oooooohhhhhh yes
our cup runs over
for it's deep and wide and high tide
inside our rhythm
with Good as the catechism
you are so good
so good to me
it's rapture, baby
easy like gravy and flowing
with no signs of slowing
you take me down
and crown
my glowing ebb
and suddenly I'm your deb on fire
your briar rose
with tingling toes in the throes
of Oh Hell YES!!!
you never guess
you always know
you row your boat into my reeds
follow all leads and don't pause for effect
making yourself at home
inside my wreck
there is a poem for you that I cannot write
a song I cannot sing
you bring the best art out of my body
you can close your eyes and read my love for you
line by line
in silence you can hear the exquisite notes
there is so much to us
such suffiency in the stillness
it fills us but completely
there will never be a tease of an appetizer
a nibble of a snack
but a full course meal always
for us
because I love you fully
with the fullest me
