The World Goes by..

The whole of my life
hs been withheld
        for someone who knows me to well
and I see him every day  in the mirror

I can't lie to him. No matter what I do
For it is he who knows me inside
        and out, no matter what
and it is he who calls my heart to stop

I must stop right now
for what I've done to you all
        I just can't find the words
to tell you all goodbye

so I thought I'd just write them down
in poem form for you to read
        as my rays of sun finally set
on this world of life.

Live life, for you, for the one you love
and never let anyone tell you otherwise
         and if they do
remember the feelings that lie deep within your heart.
