How does our destiny become our destiny? Who provides the permanent marker for it to be written in the stars? Who decides what will complete our life? How is it that I've come into contact with the wonderful people that surround me They say that there will always be one person there for you when the rest of the world walks out I never believed it, until last night I never realized that doors close, but you are never in the dark You are always provided with another open door It is sometimes hard to walk into the open door You are afraid that it might close before you can reach it But some higher power has taken me in their wings and is protecting me keeping me from total isolation My sisters, my friends, my acquaintances Thank you for being there when the pain seems too great to bear Although, a mountain may be a burden and a strain Together, we can conquer whatever comes our way I just want to say that I love you with all my heart It is with deep gratitude and sincerity that I say thank you I used to believe that i was cursed, that my life was doomed But I am just a child of the stars, a child of circumstance, afterall, what is meant to be will be. |
